The new zone at EDPCOOLJAZZ broadens the festival’s offert in the late afternoon, featuring national jazz talents - jazz trios come together to give the headstart of the cooler summer nights, invading the spaces of Parque Marechal Carmona, Cascais, on the Cool Pick&Go zone (festival foodcourt).
João Pedro Coelho (piano), Romeu Tristão (bass guitar) and Nemanja Delic (drums) join the Jazz Trio Palette. Young musicians with experience in the national jazz scene and who decide with this trio to play "jazz of the old, even to the old!", As they define themselves.

The academic path had passes through institutions like Barreiro Jazz School and currently studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. One of the most versatile musicians on the Portuguese scene, Elmano Coelho has made a consistent journey not only in the national jazz scene as well as in Portuguese music itself. From collaborations with various groups and artists, there are tours with Mallu Magalhães, Paulo Flores, Herman José, among others. The tenor and soprano saxophonist is presented in a trio format at CASCAIS JAZZ SESSIONS.
The vibraphone is probably one of the most complex and rare instruments to watch on stage. On July 27, Eduardo Cardinho presents himself with his vibraphone in trio format - Nelson Cascais (guitarist) and Rui Pereira (drums). The performance features original music, but also themes from the American jazz songbook.
Since the age of 15 Carlos Borges has dedicated himself to musical study, more concretely in the Conservatory of Music of Coimbra. In this institution he concluded the Professional Course of Jazz Instrumentalist and soon after he started his path at the Superior School of Music of Lisbon, finishing the Bachelor of Jazz Variant Music. Between several projects Carlos Borges integrates the live performances of Marta Hugo and Orchestra Smooth. The bass player is will perform with two more musicians on July 31th at CASCAIS JAZZ SESSIONS.
